국문 초록

본 연구는 인간의 삶의 방향과 산업 전 분야에 광범위하게 영향을 미치고 있는 기술 발전이 언어장벽과 암묵적 지식 이전의 어려움을 극복하여 본사와 자회사간의 지식이전을 증가시킬 것이라는 새로운 가설을 설정하고 인터뷰와 실증분 석을 통하여 증명하려고 한다. 기존의 선행연구는 언어장벽이 지식이전에 장애가 된다는 것을 증명하였지만(BarnerRasmussen& Björkman, 2007; Harzing et al., 2008; 김경, 2010, Vesa Peltokorpi et al., 2014), 언어장벽을 극복하는 새로운 패러다임을 제시하지는 못했다. 기존연구는 실증적 연구가 부족하며, 지금까지 국제경영에서의 언어에 관한 연구는 미국이나 유럽의 학자들이 주류를 이루어 왔다. 그러나 다국적기업의 대다수는 ‘영어’를 사용하지 않는 지역에 진출하여 있다. 이것은 비영어권에 있는 학자들이 그동안 소홀히 하였던 아시아 국가를 비롯한 각 지역의 언어를 연구 대상으로 확대하여야 할 필요성을 의미한다. 실제로 해외 자회사들은 기업에서 정한 공통의 기업언어 대신 다양한 언어를 구사하고 있다. 따라서 다국적기업에서 지식이전에 중요한 요소인 언어에 관한 연구는 매우 중요하다. 다국적 기업에서 지식이전은 부서 간의 비전 공유와 가치 신뢰에 영향을 주는 변수이다. 정확한 지식이전은 조직에 대한 몰입을 증진시켜 기업의 성과로 이어질 것이다. 본 연구를 종합하여 보면 지식이전과 언어훈련(language training), 민감 언어채용(language sensitive recruitment)은 정(+)의 유의미한 결과를 보이고 있고, 언어장벽은 부(-)의 유의미한 결과를 보이고 있다. 언어장벽과 기술혁신은  값이 .553***, P<0.001로 매우 유의한 정(+)의 관계를 보이고 있다. 반면 암묵적 지식(tacit knowledge)과 기술 수용은 유의한 결과를 보이고 있지 않다.

영문 초록

In this paper, the development of technology, which has a wide influence on the direction of human life and all fields of industry in case of language barriers and tacit knowledge, overcomes the difficulty of transferring such language barriers and tacit knowledge, The results of this study are as follows. Although previous studies have shown that language barriers hinder knowledge transfer (Barner-Rasmussen & Björkman, 2007; Harzing et al., 2008; Kim, 2010; Vesa Peltokorpi et al., 2014) It is not offer a paradigm. Previous research has lacked empirical research and has been the mainstream of language research in international management by scholars in the United States and Europe. However, the vast majority of multinational corporations do not have addresses in areas where the language is English . This means that scholars in non-English speaking countries are in the process of expanding their research into Asian countries and other regions where research on language, an important element of international management, has long been desired. Substantially, overseas subsidiaries use a variety of languages instead of a common corporate language set by the company. Therefore, it is important for multinational companies to study language, which is the most important factor in knowledge transfer. The transfer of knowledge in multinational corporations is a variable that influences the sharing of vision and internal trust among internal departments. Accurate knowledge transfer will enhance commitment to the organization and ultimately lead to MNCs performance. The results of this study indicate that transfer of knowledge plus language training and language sensitive recruitment have significant positive results and language barriers have significant negative results and language barriers plus technology innovation .553 ***, P <0.001, indicating a very positive relationship. On the other hand, tacit knowledge plus technology capabilities does not show significant results.
