국문 초록

최근 10년 동안, 중국의 지식생산 영역에서 전문문화와 매체문화의 분명한 분화현상이 나타나기 시작했다. 이두 종류의 문화는 전문 공간과 공공 공간이라는 각자의 활동 공간을 지니고 있으며, 공공 지식인과 전문 지식인이 라는 각자의 지식 주체 또한 지니고 있다. 당대 중국의 지식생산과 지식사회가 당면한 과제는 이중적 단절이다. 첫 번째는 내부의 단절로, 유기적이고 통합적인 지식 공동체가 더 이상 존재하지 않는다는 것이다. 두 번째는 외부의 단절로, 대학 지식은 외부 세계 및 사회와 유기적 연관성을 상실하였으며, 대학 지식은 본연의 공공성을 상실했 다. 공공성의 지식을 다시금 창조해내기 위해, 지식생산의 통합성과 실천성, 그리고 가치성이라는 세 가지의 품격을 회복해야만 한다.

영문 초록

There has been an evident tendency of disintegration in the field of knowledge production in China in the last 10 years, dividing intellectual culture into two separate parts: professional scholar culture and public media culture. These two types of cultures are practiced in two different spheres (in academia and the public) by two different subjects (professional scholars and public intellectuals). Knowledge production and the intellectual community in contemporary China are thus facing a double-dimensional disintegration. The first dimension is internal disintegration among intellectuals themselves, which means that an organic, integrated intellectual community no longer exists. The second dimension is the external disintegration of knowledge, which means that the organic linkage between academic knowledge and the outside world has been broken. Academic knowledge has lost its public relevance. In order to recast new public knowledge, we must resume three characteristics of knowledge production, namely, integrality, practicability, and value affirmation.
