해결중심 집단상담이 초등학생의 자아개념과 또래관계에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 해결중심 집단상담이 초등학교 고학년 아동의 자아개념 및 또래관계에 미치는 효과를 검증하고 이를 교육 현장에 활용하는데 목적을 두었다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 서울특별시 종로구 운니동에 소재한 U 초등학교 6학년 남녀 학생을 선정하여 각 10명씩 실험집단과 통제집단에 배치하였다. 이에 따른 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 해결중심 집단상담을 실시한 실험집단의 초등학생은 통제집단의 초등학생에 비해 자아개념의 네가지 하위요인(신체적, 사회적, 인성적, 가정적)에서 통계적으로 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 또한 해결중심 집단상담을 실시한 실험집단의 초등학생은 통제집단의 초등학생에 비해 또래관계에서 통계적으로 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 통해, 해결중심 집단상담은 초등학생의 자아개념과 또래관계를 향상시키는데 효과적임을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of solution-focused group counseling on self-concept and peer-to-peer relationships in elementary school students. In order to achieve the study purpose, the participants in this study were 20 sixth graders at U. Elementary School located in Seoul. The results from this study were as follows. First, there was a significant difference on the scores of self-concept between the experiment group and the control group. The solution-focused group counseling had a positive effect on self-concept in the elementary school students. Second, there was a significant difference on the scores of peer-to-peer relationships between the two groups. The solution-focused group counseling had a positive effect on the peer-to-peer relationships in elementary school students. In conclusion, the 6-week solution-focused group counseling is effective in improving the scores of self-concept and peer-to-peer relationships in elementary school students.
