장애인 평생교육 프로그램 분류체계 개발 기초연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 장애인 평생교육 프로그램의 체계적인 분류방안을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구 수행을 위하여 먼저, 장애인복지관, 장애인야학, 장애인주간보호센터, 장애인자립생활센터, 점자도서관, 대학부설 장애인 평생교육원, 한국장애인고용공단 산하 장애인 직업훈련기관 등 모두 104개 기관 873개의 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 조사를 실시하여 프로그램의 명칭, 목적, 내용, 대상, 형식, 장소를 기준으로 프로그램 조사표를 작성하였다. 이를 귀납적으로 적용하여 평생교육법 제2조의 평생교육 프로그램 6개 영역을 근거로 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 대분류를 설정하고, 평생교육진흥원에서 개발한 한국 평생교육 프로그램 분류체계를 참조하여 기관별 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 데이터의 범주화를 실시함으로써 중분류의 정의 및 각 영역별 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 예시를 간단히 표로 제시하였다. 이 연구에서 제안한 장애인 평생교육 프로그램 분류체계는 일반분류체계로서 향후 국가적인 차원에서의 표준분류체계 개발 연구를 위한 기초연구로서의 역할은 물론 장애인 평생교육 프로그램의 개발 및 평가 틀을 구성하는데 도움을 줄 것이다. 또한 장애인 평생교육 지원정책의 근거 자료를 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The current study is implemented to develop the classification system of lifelong education programs for people with disabilities. A survey was conducted with 104 institutions which have services lifelong education programs for people with disabilities. The institution included welfare center for people with disabilities, night schools for people with disabilities, vocational training centers in Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, the libraries for the blind, independent living centers, lifelong education centers for people with disabilities at universities. Through the survey, 873 programs were investigated to develop the classification system of lifelong education programs for people with disabilities. Firstly, 873 programs were classified into 5 different areas such as purposes, contents, subjects, forms and places for the survey. With this result, the lifelong education act and previous research, this study established a large-classification system on lifelong education program of people with disabilities based on academic ability of supplementation education, basic literacy education for adults, vocational education, culture-arts education and civil participation education. Further, this study suggested a middle-classification system with categorizing program data of lifelong education program of people with disabilities. The classification system of lifelong education program for people with disabilities that this study suggests, could be a guideline for development of standard classification system for the programs for people with disabilities as well as an evaluation system. In addition, the result of this study could be helpful for establishing policies on the lifelong education programs for people with disabilities.
