국문 초록

『三國史記』 百濟本紀에는 瑞祥이 기록되어 있다. 이와 같은 서상은 왕자의 盛德을 나타내는 것이다. 본 논문은 백제의 서상을 분석하였다. 서상을 통해 백제의 정치를 구분할 수 있다. 백제에서 서상기록은 주로 漢城時代에 집중되어있다. 溫祚王代에 5회의 서상기록이 나타난다. 백제왕들 중 가장 많은 서상이 나타난 온조왕대에 서상으로 대변되는 왕권이 성장하고 있었다. 이어 古爾王代에 서상이 4회가 보인다. 고이왕대에는 백제에서 일련의 제도와 문물에 관한 정비가 이루어졌다. 한성시대에 온조왕 • 고이왕을 제외하고는 서상기록이 간헐적으로 보인다. 이로 보아, 한성시대의 백제는 전체적으로 왕권이 강력하게 지속되지 못했다. 백제는 蓋鹵王代에 고구려의 남하로 수도인 한성을 잃었다. 그 후 熊津과 泗沘를 도읍으로 한 시대가 전개되었다. 이 시대에는 東城王代만 예외적으로 서상기록들이 보인다. 그러나 동성왕대에 시도된 왕권강화는 동성왕의 시해로 실패했다고 보여 진다. 동성왕 이후 웅진과 사비시기의 역대 백제왕들은 일체의 서상기록이 없다. 서상으로 보아, 백제의 왕권은 한성에 있을 때와 비교해, 웅진과 사비로 천도한 이후에 급격하게 약화되었다. 서상 기록으로 보아, 백제의 정치는 한성시기와 천도한 이후인 웅진과 사비시기로 나누어진다.

영문 초록

Auspicious things which indicated the royal virtues of the prince were shown in the period of Baekje. In fact, auspicious phenomena were written in 『Samguksagi』and the phenomena in the period of Baekje were interrelated with the royal authority. It is noticed that auspicious things in Baekje were found in the time of King Onjo, King Goi intensively. During the period, auspicious things were used to reflect the establishment of sovereign power. Except King Onjo and King Goi, auspicious things were found in the time of the other kings in Hansung period intermittently. In the time of King Gaero, Baekje lost Hansung, the capital city of the nation by the attack of Goguryo. Then Baekje moved the national capital city from Hansung to Wungjin and Sabi. King Dongsung was only monarch who could find auspicious things in Wungjin and Sabthe period. But There were many natural calamities in the years of king Dongsung. These phenomena were connected with the lack of virtue of a ruler. These natural calamities were associated with the political confusion too. There were no auspicious things could be found except the time of King Dongsung in Wungjin and Sabi period. This means that the decline in the sovereign power in those days. The collapsing of the sovereign power could indicated the strengthen of the influence of nobility. Eventually those phenomena made Baekje lose her strength. In conclusion, auspicious things in Baekje were related to the royal authority. There were two different eras in political situation of Baekje. The first era was in Hansung period and the second era was in Wungjin and Sabi period.
