Structural Relationships Among Internet Self-Efficacy, Self-Regulated Learning, Academic Achievement, and Persistence Intention in e-learning

국문 초록

본 논문의 목적은 이러닝 환경에서 인터넷 자기효능감, 자기주도학습, 성취도, 지속의향성 변인들간의 구조적 관계를 분석하는 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 A 사이버대학교에 재학중인 학생들이 본 연구에 참여하였으며, 웹 설문을 통해 데이터를 수집하였다. 총 592명 재학생의 데이터가 수집되었으며, 최종적으로 변인들 간의 인과관계분석을 위해 구조방정식모형(Structural Equation ModelIng:SEM)을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 자기주도학습이 성취도와 지속의향성 양쪽 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 인터넷 자기효능감은 양쪽 모두에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 사이버대학교 이러닝 환경에서 자기주도학습이 성취도와 지속의향성과 같은 주된 학습성과에 영향을 미치는 중요요소라는 점이 밝혀졌다. 그러므로 이러닝에서의 성공적인 학습성과를 이끌어내기 위해 학습자들을 위한 시간관리 기능 이외에도 학습콘텐트 조직 및 요약 등과 같이 학습내용 구성을 보다 효과적으로 운영할 수 있는 향상된 기능들과 학습자 모니터링 기능을 학습관리시스템(Learning Management System:LMS)에 제공 및 강화시킬 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the causal relationships among internet self-efficacy, self-regulated learning, academic achievement, and persistence intentions in the e-learning environment. A total of 592 students who were enrolled at A cyber university in Korea had participated in the study. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was implemented, and the results indicate that only self-regulated learning has an effect on both academic achievement and persistence intentions and suggest that self-regulated learning is a key factor in determining learning outcomes. This paper proposes several ways to improve self-regulated learning in the cyber university environment.
