영문 초록

The idiomatic expressions are the fixed structures that are composed of more than two lexemes and whose whole meaning is not easily derived from the sum of all the constituent elements. The inability to explain the idiomatic expressions in accordance with the rules of the standard grammar creates a serious problem for both teachers and students. However, no one can deny the major role that these expressions play in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language. They not only frequently occur in the colloquial language but also contain sociolinguistic elements that have come from the experiences of a community accumulated throughout its history. Given these considerations, the present study seeks to propose the teaching method which is more effective and systematic, focusing on the idiomatic expressions related to the bullfighting and the football. Las expresiones fraseológicas son estructuras fijas compuestas por más de dos lexemas, cuyo significado total no se obtiene fácilmente con la suma de todos sus elementos. La imposibilidad de explicar los hechos de las expresiones fraseológicas, de acuerdo con las reglas de la gramática estándar, representa un verdadero problema tanto para el/la enseñante como para el/la estudiante del español. Debido a esto, existe la necesidad de conceder a estas expresiones un papel importante dentro de la enseñanza del E/LE, ya que, aparte de que son frecuentes en el lenguaje coloquial, transportan elementos sociolingüísticos que reflejan la experiencia acumulada de una comunidad a lo largo de su historia. A partir de estas consideraciones, se propone un posible método para una enseñanza más efectiva y sistemática de estos. En este estudio, he trabajado con algunas expresiones fraseológicas relacionadas con el toreo y el fútbol que pueden incentivar la curiosidad de los estudiantes sobre el tema.
