기계경비원의 조직유효성이 이직의도에 미치는 영향 : 직무스트레스 매개효과

국문 초록

오늘날 민간경비 산업은 꾸준한 성장세를 보이고 있지만, 낮은 임금구조와 복리혜택, 서비스업에 종사하는 직무스트레스로 인해 높은 이직률을 보이는 구조의 직업군으로 분류 되고 있다. 이 연구는 기계경비원의 조직유효성, 이직의도, 직무스트레스 간의 인과관계를 규명하고자 기계경비업체에 재직 중인 기계경비원 300명을 대상으로 2024년 07월 29일부터 08월 23일까지 실시하였다. 자료수집 방법은 자기기입식 설문지법(Self-administered Questionnaire Survey Method)을 사용하였다. 인구사회학적 특성 및 상관관계 분석과 선행 연구 분석결과의 유사점으로는 민간경비원의 직무스트레스와 조직유효성, 이직의도와 조직유효성의 관계는 부(-)의 영향을 미치며, 직무스트레스와 이직의도는 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인하였다. 낮은 임금구조와 복리혜택, 서비스업에 종사하는 기계경비원의 직무스트레스와 이직의도, 조직유효성의 분석과 상관관계 분석을 통해 기계경비산업에 성장과 발전에 기여할 수 있기를 기대해 본다.

영문 초록

The private security industry today continues to grow steadily. However, it remains categorized as an occupational field characterized by a high turnover rate due to its structural issues, such as low wage systems, limited welfare benefits, and job stress associated with service-oriented tasks. This study aims to identify the causal relationships among organizational effectiveness, turnover intention, and job stress of security system guards. A survey was conducted on 300 guards currently employed in security system companies from July 29 to August 23, 2024. The data collection method used was the self-administered questionnaire survey method. Analysis of sociodemographic characteristics and correlation analysis, as well as similarities with previous studies, confirmed the following: job stress and turnover intention among private security personnel negatively affect organizational effectiveness, whereas job stress and turnover intention are positively correlated. Through the analysis of job stress, turnover intention, and organizational effectiveness among security system guards—who often face low compensation and limited welfare in a service industry setting—this study aims to contribute to the development and growth of the private security industry.
