대학생의 성인 애착과 상담에 대한 기대 간의 관계에서 대인 존재감과 대인 신뢰감의 매개 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 불안, 회피 애착과 상담에 대한 기대의 관계에서 대인 존재감 및 대인 신뢰감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이었다. 연구 대상은 만 19세 이상의 대학(원)생 359명으로, 친밀 관계 경험 개정판(ECR-R), 상담에 대한 기대 척도(EAC), 대인 존재감 척도, 대인 신뢰감 척도에 응답하였다. 자료는 SPSS 21.0과 Mplus 8.1 프로그램을 사용하여 구조방정식 모형으로 분석하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 불안 애착, 회피 애착, 상담에 대한 기대, 대인 존재감, 대인 신뢰감은 불안 애착과 상담에 대한 기대의 관계를 제외하고 모두 유의한 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 불안, 회피 애착과 상담에 대한 기대의 관계에서 대인 존재감과 대인 신뢰감이 매개하는 모형을 구조방정식 모형분석을 사용하여 검증한 결과, 대인 존재감은 불안 애착이 상담에 대한 기대에 미치는 영향을 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 회피 애착은 상담에 대한 기대에 직접적인 영향을 주지 않고 대인 존재감을 통해서만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 불안, 회피 애착과 상담에 대한 기대의 관계에서 대인 신뢰감의 매개효과는 나타나지 않았다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effects of mattering and interpersonal trust on the relationship between college students’ attachment styles—specifically, anxious and avoidance attachment—and their expectations about counseling. The participants were 359 undergraduate and graduate students aged 19 and older, who completed the Experiences in Close Relationships-Revised (ECR-R), Expectations About Counseling (EAC) scale, Korean-version Mattering Scale, and Interpersonal Trust Scale. Data were analyzed using structural equation modeling with SPSS 21.0 and Mplus 8.1. The findings of this study are as follows. First, anxious attachment, avoidance attachment, expectation about counseling, mattering, and interpersonal trust showed significant correlations with each other, except for the relationship between anxious attachment and expectation about counseling. Second, structural equation modeling analysis revealed that mattering significantly mediated the relationships between both anxious and avoidance attachment and expectation about counseling. Avoidance attachment showed no direct effect on expectation about counseling but exerted its influence solely through the mediating pathway of mattering. Third, interpersonal trust did not significantly mediate the relationships between anxious and avoidance attachment and expectation about counseling. Finally, the implications and limitations of the study are discussed, along with suggestions for future research.
