국문 초록

목적 : 본 연구는 학령기 자폐 스펙트럼 장애 아동을 대상으로 시청각 매체를 활용한 학교기반 작업치료를 체계적으로 고찰하고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 2014년부터 2024년까지 국외 학술지에 게재된 연구를 대상으로 Pubmed, ScienceDirect, Embase 데이터베이스를 통해 검색하였다. 검색어로는“autism”, “asperger”, “ASD”, “autistic”, “PDD”, “pervasive developmental disorder”, “children”, “child”, “occupation”, “OT”, “school”을 적용하였다. 선정기준 및 배제기준에 따라 최종적으로 12편의 실험연구가 선정되었다. 결과 : 선정된 연구의 질적 수준은 대체로 무작위 대조군 연구와 두 집단 사전-사후 연구로 분류되어 질적 수준 높고 비뚤림 위험이 낮았다. 시청각 매체가 주로 활용되었으며, 그중 동영상이 가장 빈번하게 사용되었다. 중재 영역에서는 사회적 상호작용이 가장 많이 다루어졌으며, 다음으로 인지 행동과 학습 기술이 적용되었다. 중재 효과로는 사회적 참여와 문제행동에 현저한 긍정적 결과를 보였으며, 측정 도구로는 사회적 기술 개선 시스템 평가 척도(Social Skills Improvement System; SSIS)가 가장 높은 비율을 보였다. 결론 : 본 연구는 자폐 스펙트럼 장애 아동을 대상으로 한 학교기반 작업치료에서 활용한 시청각 매체의 종류, 중재 종류 및 효과, 측정도구를 제시함으로써 작업치료사가 학교 환경에서의 효과적인 중재 방안을 제공하는 데 중요한 기초 자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objective : The study aimed to systematically review school-based occupational therapy using audiovisual media for school-aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Methods : The Pubmed, ScienceDirect, and Embase databases were searched for studies published in international journals from 2014 to 2024. The keywords “autism”, “asperger”, “ASD”, “autistic”, “PDD”, “pervasive developmental disorder”, “children”, “child”, “occupation”, “OT”, and “school” were applied. Following selection and exclusion criteria, 12 experimental studies were finally included. Results : The selected studies were mostly classified as randomized controlled trials or pre-post studies with two groups, indicating high literature quality and low risk of bias. Audiovisual media were primarily utilized, with videos being the most frequently used. Among the intervention areas, social interaction was the most frequently targeted, followed by learning skills and cognitive behavior interventions. The intervention effects showed significant positive outcomes on social participation and behavioral problems, with the Social Skills Improvement System having the highest utilization rate as a measurement tool. Conclusions : This study identified the types of audiovisual media, intervention types, effects, and measurement tools used in school-based occupational therapy for children with ASD. The findings are expected to provide a valuable foundation for occupational therapists in designing effective interventions within school environments.
