국문 초록

Purpose: This study attempted to analyze the relationship between cultural competence, self-concept, and the happiness of nursing students. Methods: A descriptive study design was used. The data were collected from April 23 to May 17, 2024, through a survey of nursing students. The collected data of 166 students were analyzed using the SPSS 25.0 program. Results: The mean scores of cultural competence, self-concept, and happiness of nursing students were 3.62±0.41, 3.94±0.69, and 3.76±0.64, respectively. The results of the analysis showed a positive correlation between nursing student's cultural competence, self-concept and happiness, cultural competence and self-concept (r=.567, p <.01), cultural competence and happiness (r=.506, p<.01), and self-concept and happiness (r=.806, p <.01). Conclusion: The results of this study confirmed that, as the cultural competence and self-concept of nursing students increased, their happiness also improved. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a program to improve cultural competency and self-concept to increase the happiness of nursing students.
