국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 영유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 회복탄력성이 행복에 미치는 영향에서 소진의 매개효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 G도에 위치하는 어린이집에 재원 중인 영유아의 어머니 318명을 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0과 Process macro 4.0을 활용하여 기술통계, 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석 및 매개효과 분석을 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 회복탄력성은 행복 하위요인과 총점 모두에서 유의미한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 소진은 행복 하위요인과 총점 모두 유의미한 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났고, 회복탄력성과 소진은 하위요인과 총점 모두에서 유의미한 부적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 회복탄력성은 행복에 정적 영향을 미치며, 소진은 회복탄력성이 행복에 미치는 영향에서 부분 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 영유아기 어머니의 행복에 미치는 회복탄력성과 소진의 영향을 확인하고 행복감을 높이는 방안을 모색하기 위한 시사점을 찾고자 하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of burnout on the relationship between resilience and happiness among mothers with young children. Data were collected from 318 mothers whose children were enrolled in daycare centers in G province. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 23.0 and Process Macro 4.0, applying descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and mediation effect analysis. The findings are as follows. First, maternal resilience showed a significant positive correlation with the sub-factors and total score of happiness. In contrast, burnout, demonstrated a significant negative correlation with happiness, including its sub-factors and total score. Additionally, resilience and burnout were significantly negatively correlated across all sub-factors and total scores. Second, resilience had a direct positive effect on happiness, while burnout partially mediated the relationship between resilience and happiness. These findings confirm the impact of resilience and burnout on the happiness of mothers with young children, highlighting the need to explore strategies to enhance their well-being. The study suggests that interventions aimed at strengthening resilience and reducing burnout may be effective in promoting the happiness of mothers raising young children.
