국문 초록

이 연구는 다문화가족자녀들을 대상으로 언어발달지도를 하는 저자 자신이 4년여의 기간 동안 언어발달지도사로 재직하면서 직접 체험한 경험을 바탕으로 언어발달 지도사의 정체성과 역할 갈등에 대하여 고찰한 자문화기술지이다. 나는 4년여 동안 언어발달지도사로 재직하면서 겪은 경험과 자신의 목소리, 그리고 동료 언어발달지도사들과 나눈 대화와 본인의 기억을 문자로 옮겨 각 주제에 맞게 자료들을 분석하는 연구방법을 통하여 언어발달지원사업과 언어발달지도사에 대한 이해와 고찰을 진행하였다. 이 자문화기술지를 통하여 다문화 교육계 전반에 언어발달지원 사업에 관한 구체적인 소개와 함께 이해가 필요함을 밝혔고, 언어발달지도사들의 원활한 교육을 위하여 언어발달지도사들 고유의 위치와 업무를 인정하고 이에 맞는 업무환경이 필요함을 밝혔다. 그리고 언어발달지도사들이 겪는 정체성의 모호함과 역할 갈등의 해결을 위하여 언어발달지도사의 역할을 어느 특정 영역에 묶는 것이 아닌 다양한 영역을 아우를 수 있는 능력이 필요함을 밝혔다. 혼재에서 오는 정체성의 모호함과 역할 갈등을 단점이 아닌 장점으로 바꿔 다양한 영역을 아우르는 전문가 영역으로 발전시키는 것이 언어발달지도사가 나아가야 할 발전적인 방향이다. This study is an autoethnography evaluating the identity and role conflict of language developmental supporters based on the personal experience of the author, who worked as a language developmental supporter for children of multicultural families for four years. I wrote my experiences, my own voice, dialogue with other language developmental supporters, and own memories while I worked as a language developmental supporter for four years. The texts were analyzed for each subject. Using the material, this study aims to understand and study the Korean Language Development Support Service and language developmental supporter. This autoethnography intends to introduce the Korean Language Development Support Service to the overall multicultural education field and claim the necessities in understanding the service. Moreover, it aims to help people to accept the unique position and tasks of language developmental supporters and provide a work environment for them to give a smooth education support. Moreover, the results of this study shows that it is required for them to have capabilities to cover a wide range of topics instead of focusing on a specific topic in order to overcome the vague identity and their role conflict issues. The results of the study reveal that language developmental supporters should pursue to be experts covering various areas to overcome the ambiguous identity and role conflicts, existing in the current mixed system.
