국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 생태그림책을 활용한 숲놀이 활동이 만 2세 영아의 자연친화적 태도와 놀이성에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이다. 연구대상은 경북 P시에 위치한 사회경제적 수준이 비슷한 C어린이집, S어린이집 만 2세 영아 총 42명이다. 실험집단은 C어린이집 만 2세 영아 21명, 비교집단은 S어린이집 만 2세 영아 21명을 선정하였다. 실험은 2020년 9월 28일부터 시작하여 2020년 12월 18일까지 실험집단은 매주 3회 생태그림책을 활용한 숲놀이 활동을 실시하였으며, 비교집단은 매주 3회 유아교육기관 내 실외놀이터에서 실외 자유놀이를 총 36회 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 생태그림책을 활용한 숲놀이 활동이 만 2세 영아의 자연친화적 태도와 자연진화적 태도 하위요인 동·식물에 대한 관심과 애호, 생명에 대한 존중의식, 인공 환경보다 자연환경에 대한 애호에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 생태그림책을 활용한 숲놀이 활동은 만 2세 영아의 놀이성과 놀이성의 하위요인 신체적 자발성, 사회적 자발성, 인지적 자발성, 즐거움의 표현, 유머 감각에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 생태그림책을 활용한 숲놀이 활동은 만 2세 영아의 자연친화적 태도와 놀이성 증진에 효과적임을 교육적으로 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of forest play activities using ecological picture books on the nature-friendly attitude and playfulness of 2-year-old infants. The subjects of this study were from C daycare center and S daycare center located in P-city, Gyeongbuk, and 42 children aged 2 years were included in this study. The experimental group consisted of 21 two-year-old infants at C daycare center, and 21 two-year-old infants at S daycare center in comparative group. The experiment started from September 28, 2020 and went to December 18, 2020, and the experimental group conducted forest play activities using ecological picture books three times a week, and the comparative group was outdoors at the outdoor playground in the early childhood education institution three times a week. Free play was held a total of 36 times. The research results are as follows. First, forest play activities using ecological picture books are more about the interest and love of animals and plants, which are sub-factors of the nature-friendly attitude and natural evolutionary attitude of 2-year-old infants, a sense of respect for life, and a love for the natural environment rather than an artificial environment. It has been shown to have a positive effect. Forest play activities using ecological picture books were found to have a positive effect on physical spontaneity, social spontaneity, cognitive spontaneity, expression of pleasure, and sense of humor, which are sub-factors of playability and playfulness of 2-year-old infants. In conclusion, it is educationally implied that forest play activities using ecological picture books are effective in promoting the nature-friendly attitudes and playfulness of 2-year-old infants.
