지체부자유학생의 통합교육에 대한 교사의 태도

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 일반교사의 지체부자유학생의 통합교육에 대한 태도를 조사함으로써, 통합교육의 경험적 기초 자료를 제공하고자 한다.본 조사에서는 특수교육을 전공하지 않는 Y시 일반교사 264명을 대상으로 지체부자유학생에 대한 태도를 조사하였으며, 사용한 척도는 지체부자유학생의 통합에 대한 척도이며,「통합교육에 대한 기본태도」,「지체부자유학생에 대한 인식」,「통합교육의 장점」,「통합교육의 단점」,「통합교육에 필요한 시스템 및 설비」의 5개 하위영역 총91문항에 대해서 일반교사의 지체부자유학생의 통합에 대한 태도를 검토하였다. 이 척도의 Cronbach α계수는 .883이상이었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 지체부자유학생의 통합교육에 대한 일반교사의 인식은 전체교사의 28.0%만이 긍정적으로 인식하였다. 5개의 하위영역별 긍정도의 순서를 보면「지체부자유학생에 대한 인식(41.7%)」이 5개 영역 중 가장 긍정적으로 나타났으며, 그 다음으로「통합교육에 대한 기본태도(33.7%)」,「통합교육의 단점(26.9%)」,「통합교육의 장점(20.5%)」 순으로, 5개영역 중「통합교육에 필요한 시스템 및 설비(16.3%)」가 가장 부정적으로 나타났다.교사의 성별에 따른 긍정도를 비교해 보면 「통합교육에 필요한 시스템 및 설비」에서 가장 큰 인식의 차이가 나타났다. 즉 여교사(12.2%)에 비해 남교사(23.0%)가 더 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide empirically basic materials of integrated education by examining teachers' attitudes to integrated education of physically handicapped students. Subjects of this study were 264 teachers, who did not studying special education and worked in Y City of Jeonnam, and their attitudes to physically handicapped students were examined.This study used a scale for integration of physically handicapped students: 「Basic attitude to integrated education」, 「recognition of physically handicapped students」, 「advantage of integrated education」,「disadvantage of integrated education」, and「system and equipment necessary to integrated education」. A total of 91 items of these five subareas were used to examine teachers' attitudes. The Cronbach α coefficient of this scale was more than 0.883.The results are as follows. For recognition of physically handicapped students, only 28.0% of teachers thought positively. The positiveness in five subareas is as follows. Recognition of physically handicapped students」(41.7%) was the most positive, followed by 「Basic attitude to integrated education」(33.7%), 「disadvantage of integrated education」(26.9%), 「advantage of integrated education」(20.5%), and「system and equipment necessary to integrated education」(16.3%). For the positiveness by teacher's sex, there was the biggest difference in the recognition of 「system and equipment necessary to integrated education」. In other words, female teachers(12.2%) were more positive than male teachers(23.0%).
