국문 초록

본 연구는 우울한 성인여성이 미술치료를 통해 경험하는 자신의 이해와 통찰에 대하여 그림에 나타난 상징이 어떠한 변화와 의미를 보이는지 탐구하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 총 26회기로 진행되었으며 전 과정을 융의 심리치료 4단계인 고백 단계, 명료화 단계, 교육단계, 변화의 단계로 구분하여 상징의 변화와 그 의미에 대해 살펴보았다. 그림에 나타난 상징은 곧 인간 본연의 마음에 존재하는 무의식적 힘의 원천인 원형의 시각물이자 의식적인 언어로, 단순하고 명료하게 정의를 내리는 것은 매우 어려운 일이다. 이에 창조적 에너지인 내면의 무의식적 역동이, 연구 참여자의 그림 작업에서 나타나는 상징성을 분석심리학적 관점으로 고찰하여, 변화 가능성을 이해하는 근거로 삼았다. 그 결과 연구 참여자는 그림을 그리면서 자신의 내면과 관계를 맺고 소통, 표출함으로써 자가 치유적인 효과에 이를 수 있었다. 이는 연구 참여자의 그림에 의한 내적 소통과 그림의 상징에 대한 확충으로 무의식의 창조적인 기능을 자극하여 형태와 색채로 발현되면서 잠재된 창의성의 실현과 함께 우울을 완화 시키는 역할을 하였다

영문 초록

This study explored the changes and meanings of the symbols shown in the paintings about the understanding and insights that depressed woman experience through art therapy. The study was conducted in a total of 26 sessions dividing the entire process into four stages of Jung s psychotherapy: confessional, clarifying, educational, and change.And the researchers observed the changes of symbols and their meanings. The symbolism shown in the picture is a prototypical visual thing, a source of unconscious power that exists in the mind of man, and it is very difficult to give simple and clear definitions in conscious language. Accordingly through the analytic psychologic perspective. It could be understood that the inner unconscious dynamics have the possibility of changing symbols that appears in the voluntary painting work of the study participants. As a result, the study participants were able to achieve self-healing effects by communicating and establishing relationships with their inner-self during painting. This means that the internal communication by the painting of the participants stimulates the creative functions of the unconsciousness to expression of colors and forms and play a role of alleviation of the depression with realization of the potential creativity.
