국문 초록

본 연구는 성서에 나타난 폭력 행위자들을 특성에 따라 분류하여 기독교적인 관점에서 재해석하고 개입전략에 대해서 논의하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 충동적이고 반사회적인 행동 특성을 보이는 폭력 행위자가 있다. 이들에게는 분노를 있는 그대로 수용하고 조절하는 전략이 필요하다. 특히 공감능력이 부족한 이들에게 교회 공동체는 공감을 배울 수 있는 공감적 환경을 조성해 주어야 한다. 둘째, 정서적으로 불안정하고 의존적인 행동 특성을 보이는 폭력 행위자가 있다. 이들에게는 영성과 묵상을 통한 종교적 활동으로 스트레스를 관리하고 대처할 수 있도록 도와줄 필요가 있다. 셋째, 주위의 시선이 두려워 주변 사람들과 자신을 심리적으로 동일시하면서 인정욕구를 가지고 있는 동조적인 행동 특성을 보이는 폭력 행위자가 있다. 이들에게는 자기주장의 근거로서 힘을 지각하여 힘으로 인정욕구를 충족시키지 않도록 하는 것이 필요하다. 마지막으로 지역사회 자원으로서의 교회 공동체가 해야 할 역할에 대해서 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study classified the violent actors in the Bible according to their characteristics, reinterpreted them from the Christian perspective, and discussed intervention strategies for them. The findings were as follows: first, there were violent actors exhibiting impulsive and anti–social behavioral characteristics. They need strategies to accept their anger as it is and control it. Especially, Church communities should be made empathic environment to learn empathy to those who are lacking empathy. Secondly, there were violent actors displaying emotionally unstable and dependent behavioral characteristics. It will be useful to help them manage and cope with stress through religious activities based on spirituality and meditation. Thirdly, there were violent actors that identified themselves with people around them psychologically due to fear for their views, had recognized needs, and showed conformative behavioral characteristics. It is important to help them perceive strength as a ground for self–assertion, meet their recognized needs not through the strength. Finally, the study discussed the roles of church community.
