형제모래놀이치료가 ADHD 아동의 형제관계에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 모래놀이치료가 ADHD 아동과 형제의 형제관계에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 형제간 갈등을 경험하고 있는 ADHD 아동과 형제3쌍을 대상으로 주 1회, 매회 50분씩, 총 12주 모래놀이치료를 실시하였다. 모래놀이치료의 효과성을 검증하기 위하여 사전·사후로 가족체계검사와 형제관계 질 척도를 실시하였으며 회기 내에서 상호작용 관찰척도를 근거로 아동별 상호작용을긍정적·부정적 행동으로 유형화하여 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 ADHD 아동과 형제의 사전 가족지각이 ‘낮음’과 ‘중간’ 범주에서 사후 ‘높음’ 범주로 정적 변화가 나타났으며, 형제관계 질도 유의미하게 증가한 것으로 나타났다. 커플모래놀이치료 실시과정에서도 형제의 부정적 시작행동은 감소한 반면, 긍정적 시작행동은 향상되었다. 또한 회기가 진행됨에 따라 모래상자의 부정적인 요소가 두드러지게 감소하고 긍정적인 요소가 점차적으로 증가하여 혼란스러운 상자가 통합적인상자로 발전되는 모습을 보였다. 이를 통해 커플모래놀이치료가 ADHD 아동과 형제의 의사소통 및 상호작용을 촉진하여 형제관계를 향상시키는 데 효과적임을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of couple sand play therapy on the sibling relationship between ADHD children and siblings. For this purpose, three pairs of ADHD children and siblings, who were recommended to participate in the study to improve their sibling relationships, A total of 12 weeks’ couple sand play therapy was performed every 50 minutes. In order to verify the effectiveness of couples sand play therapy, we conducted preliminary and post – hoc tests on the family system test and Sibling Relationship Questionnaire. The interactions were classified into positive and negative behaviors based on interaction observation scale. As a result, there was a statistically significant change in the pre – family perception of children with ADHD and siblings from ‘low’ and ‘middle’ to ‘middle’ and ‘high’ categories. In the process of the couple sand play therapy, the negative start behaviors of the siblings decreased but the positive start behaviors increased. In addition, as the session progressed, the negative elements of the sand tray decreased significantly and the positive elements gradually increased, and the confused boxes developed into an integrated tray. This study confirms that couples sand play therapy is effective in promoting communication and interaction between children with ADHD and siblings and improving sibling relationships.
