백워드 모형을 적용한 장애인 평생교육 연계전공의 교과목과 수업 설계

국문 초록

이 연구는 N대학교의 장애인 평생교육 연계전공의 ‘평생교육 프로그램 개발론’을 대상으로, 백워드 설계(Backward by Design)의 모형을 적용하여 교과목과 수업을 설계하는 사례를 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해, 백워드 설계의 절차와 요소를 중심으로 연구 대상 교과목의 프로파일을 고안하였고, 백워드 설계의 3단계(바라는 결과 확인하기-수용 가능한 증거 결정하기-학습경험과 교수 전략)를 적용하여 수업을 설계하였다. 연구를 수행하는 과정에서, 사례대학의 교육과정과 수업 혁신 부서의 책임자, 그리고 교과목 설계와 수업 설계의 적용 가능성과 적합성에 대해 외부 전문가의 검토를 받아 연구에 반영하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교과목 설계는 ‘기초 정보’와 ‘핵심 정보’로 구성하였는데, 후자는「① 교과의 학습성과, ② 단원의 학습성과-학습목표, ③ 단원의 평가준거-수행과제-평가요소), ④ 단원별 학습경험-교수전략-역량목표」의 순서로 수행하였다. 둘째, 단원의 수업 설계는 백워드 설계의 템플릿(버전 1.0)을 적용하여, ① 바라는 결과를 확인하기(단원의 성취 기준 및 내용 체계-영속적 이해와 이해의 개발-본질적 질문-핵심 지식과 기능), ② 수용 가능한 증거 결정하기(수행 과제 개발-수행 과제 루브릭 개발-기타 증거 개발), ③ 학습 경험과 수업 전략 계획하기의 순서로 진행하였다. 수행 과제를 GRASPS 기법으로 고안하였고, 학습경험은 WHERETO 기법을 적용하여 25개를 고안하였다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to design Interdisciplinary Major Course for the Disabled Lifelong education and Instruction based on the ‘Backward by Design(UbD)’ proposed by Wiggins & McTighe in 1998. In concrete, this study researched syllabus and lesson plan of Interdisciplinary Major composed of secondary special education department, human rehabilitation major, and christian education department in N-university. The results ot this research are as follows: First, Researcher invented the course syllabus(profile) of research subject according to components of Backward by Design. Second, In the unit lesson, first stage of UbD has applied for desired result composed of goal setting, enduring understandings, core knowledge and skills, and question for inquiring learning tasks. Third, Performance tasks and rubric has developed for assessing learning outcomes. Lastly Researcher invented learning activities and teaching strategies by WHERETO. Researcher recommended that Curriculum of Interdisciplinary Major have to developed by UbD serve as the model of competency-based curriculum development.
