국문 초록

이 연구는 유아의 놀이성이 행복감을 매개로 하여 공동체의식에 미친다는 가설을 설정하여 세 변인 간의 관계를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경상북도 G시에 소재한 사립유치원에 다니는 만 5세 유아 303명을 대상으로 놀이성, 행복감, 공동체의식 척도를 사용하여 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도와 백분율 및 기술 통계와 Pearson 상관분석 그리고 위계적선형 중다회귀분석(HLMR)으로 통계처리 하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아의 놀이성, 행복감, 공동체의식의 일반적 경향은 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 놀이성과 행복감은 정적 상관관계를 나타내었다. 유아의 놀이성과 공동체의식 역시 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 유아의 공동체의식과 행복감은 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 유아의 놀이성과 공동체의식 간의 관계에서 유아의 행복감은 부분 매개 효과를 나타내었다. 또한 이 연구를 통해 도출된 결과는 유아의 놀이성, 행복감, 공동체의식을 높이기 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between three variables by setting the hypothesis that children’s playfulness develops their sense of community through the medium of happiness. To this end, a survey was conducted with 303 five-year-old children, attending private kindergartens located in G city, Gyeongsangbuk-do, using the playfulness, happiness, and sense of community scales. The collected data were statistically analyzed by frequency and percentage, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, and hierarchical linear multiple regression analysis (HLMR) using the SPSS 23.0. The research results are as follows. First, the general tendency of young children s playfulness, happiness, and sense of community was high. Second, the playfulness and happiness of children showed a positive correlation. Young children s playfulness and sense of community also showed a positive correlation. There was a positive correlation between the children s sense of community and happiness. Third, the relationship between young children s playfulness and sense of community had a partial mediating effect on happiness. The results derived from this study can be used as basic data to increase the playfulness, happiness, and sense of community among children.
