국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 에듀테인먼트를 활용한 미술활동이 유아의 창의성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 사회·경제적 배경이 비슷한 2개 유치원에 재원중인 만5세 유아 42명(실험집단 21명, 비교집단 21명)이었다. 실험집단은 에듀테인먼트를 활용한 미술활동을 진행하였고, 비교집단은 생활주제에 따른 미술활동을 진행하였다. 연구결과, 에듀테인먼트를 활용한 미술활동을 실시한 실험집단 유아들이 생활주제에 따른 미술활동을 경험한 비교집단 유아들보다 창의성이 유의미하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 에듀테인먼트를 활용한 미술활동이 유아의 창의성에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다는 것을 알 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이는 에듀테인먼트를 활용한 미술활동이 유아의 창의성 향상에 효과적인 교수학습 방법이 될 수 있음을 시사하는 것이므로 유아교육현장에서 에듀테인먼트를 활용한 미술활동은 확대되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of edutainment-based art activities on the creativity of young children. The subjects of the study were two kindergartens with similar socio-economic backgrounds and 42 children of five years of age (21 experimental group, 21 comparative group). The experimental group is promoting art activities using edutainment, and the comparative group is performing art activities according to the theme of life. The study found that the experimental group infants who performed artistic activities using edutainment had significantly improved creativity than the comparative group infants who experienced artistic activities according to the theme of life. This means that art activities using edutainment were effective in improving the creativity of young children. Therefore, art activities using edutainment should be expanded in the early childhood education field.
