영문 초록

Guidance and counseling is very important in both schools and vocational training institutes. But most people in our society ignore the necessity of guidance and counseling in vocational training settings. The present study is interested in investigating the activation schemes of guidance and counseling activities in vocational training sector. In order to achieve the purpose, the main research methods such as review of related literatures and articles were utilized. Also interview and opinion survey were conducted to the vocational training teachers, trainees, and counseling psychologists. Through this study, various kinds of activation schemes for guidance and counseling in vocational training were suggested : ? the heightening of expertness of guidance teachers, ? the heightening of understanding about guidance of vocational training teachers, ? diversification of guidance programs, ? development of guidance methods appropriate to the new generation, ? better treatment for guidance teachers, ? solidification of connection with related organizations in community, ? balanced development by subsectors of guidance, ? development and utilization of unique guidance skills for trainees. And based on the results from the study, some recommendations were suggested.
