국내 성인교육 학술지 분석을 통한 성인교육과 HRD의 관계 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 성인교육과 인적자원개발(이하 HRD)의 관계에 대한 지속적인 개념 논쟁에서 벗어나 성인교육 학술지에 게재된 HRD 연구논문에 대한 분석을 통해 그 답을 찾고자 하였다. 이를 위해 국내 성인교육 전문학술지인 Andragogy Today, 평생교육학연구, 평생학습사회에 최근 10년간(2009~2018) 게재된 HRD 연구논문 210편을 대상으로 내용분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과 훈련개발, 경력개발, 학습이 주요 연구주제로 논의되었고, 훈련개발, 경력개발, 학습, 리더십과 관련하여 성인교육과 HRD의 연계가 나타났다. 특히 조직적 차원보다는 개인적 차원의 인식과 태도에 높은 관심을 보였다. 기존의 기업체 임직원 중심에서 벗어나 평생교육사/평생교육담당자/성인교육자, 여성 등 성인교육의 다양한 대상으로 HRD 대상의 확대가 나타났으며, 양적 연구와 질적 연구가 주요 연구방법으로 활용되었다. 본 연구는 성인교육에서 HRD 연구의 특징을 통해 성인교육과 HRD의 상호보완적 협력관계 가능성을 확인하였고, 연구결과를 토대로 향후 적극적 파트너십 형성을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore the relationship between adult education and HRD through the content analysis on 210 HRD articles published in Andragogy Today, Journal of Lifelong Education, and Journal of Lifelong Learning Society from 2009 to 2018. Training and development, career development and learning covered the high percentage as major research topics. There were lots of studies supporting close relationship between adult education and HRD regarding training and development, career development, learning, and leadership. More interest on the personal level such as perception and attitude rather than organization showed. There was expansion of research subjects including adult educators and women beyond corporate executives and workers. Both quantitative and qualitative research methods were dominantly utilized. This study confirmed possible cooperation between adult education and HRD and provided suggestions for partnership based on research results.
