학습과 심리치료에서 정서의 중요성에 대한 신경과학적 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구는 정서가 학습에 중요한 영향을 미친다는 점뿐만 아니라 심리치료에 있어서도 정서에 대한 고려 와 개입이 중요하다는 점을 신경과학적 관점에서 고찰하는데 목적이 있다. 고찰을 통해 인지와 정서가 뇌 안 에서 상호 의존하고, 이성적 사고와 학습이 이루어지는 데 정서의 역할이 중요하며, 인지 기능을 극대화하기 위해 서는 학습과정에서 발생하는 부정적 정서를 최소화하고 긍정적 정서를 유발하는 학습 환경을 조성해야 한다 는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 내담자의 정서행동 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 정서에 초점을 두고 긍정적 정서 함양 및 부정적 정서 조절에 역점을 두어야 한다는 점을 알 수 있었다. 이에 교육과 임상장면에서는 정서교 육, 정서충족교육, 정서조절교육 등 정서개입이 필요하고 뇌기반 학습과 뇌기반 심리치료의 접근이 활성화되 어야 함을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the importance of emotion consideration and intervention in psychological treatment as well as the influence of emotion on learning. Through this study, it was found that cognitive and emotion are interdependent in the brain, the role of emotion is important for rational thinking and learning, and it is necessary to minimize the negative emotions generated in the learning process and to create a learning environment that induces positive emotions in order to maximize cognitive function. In addition, it was found that in order to solve the client s emotional behavior problem, it is necessary to focus on emotion and the emphasis should be placed on promoting positive emotions and controlling negative emotions. For this reason, it was suggested that emotional interventions such as emotional education, emotional satisfaction education, emotional regulation education should be needed in education and clinical scene, and the approach of brain-based learning and brain-based psychotherapy should be activated.
