대학생의 우울 수준에 따른 빗속의 사람 그림(DAPR) 반응특성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 우울과 빗속의 사람 그림(DAPR; Draw a Person in the Rain)에서 나타난 스트레스, 대처자원, 대처능력의 관계를 알아보고 우울 수준에 따른 DAPR의 반응특성 차이 및 집단 간 예측의 정확도를 검증하고자 한다. 연구대상은 충북에 소재한 대학생 150명을 군집표집하였고, Beck의 우울척도(BDI; Beck Depression Inventory)를 기준으로 우울 집단 25명, 비우울 집단 25명을 선정하였다. 자료분석은 Pearson의 상관계수, 독립표본 t검증, 판별분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 우울과 DAPR의 스트레스 척도는 정적상관, 우울과 DAPR의 대처자원 및 대처능력 척도와는 부적상관을 보였다. 둘째, 우울 집단이 비우울 집단보다 DAPR의 스트레스 채점항목 ‘많은 비, 비의 접촉, 젖다, 바람, 웅덩이, 웅덩이에 서 있음’에서 점수가 유의미하게 높은 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 우울 집단이 비우울 집단보다 DAPR의 대처자원 채점항목인 ‘보호물이 있음, 우산 있음, 들고 있는 우산, 적절한 크기의 보호물, 완전한 보호물, 얼굴 전체가 보임, 얼굴의 미소, 중심에 있는 인물, 전체인물, 선의 질’ 점수가 유의미하게 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 집단 간에 ‘많은 비’, ‘들고 있는 우산’, ‘얼굴의 미소’, ‘비의 접촉’ 4개 채점항목에서 유의미한 차이가 있었고, 96.0%의 예측정확도를 보였다. 따라서 DAPR은 미술치료 현장에서 대학생 우울의 정보를 제공하는 투사그림검사로써 유용할 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

Purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between DAPR(Draw A Person in the Rain) and depression and to verify the reaction to DAPR and its predictive ability according to the level of depression. For this study, 150 college students in ChungBuk province were chosen for cluster sampling, with 25 representing the depression group and 25 depicting the non-depression group according to Beck s BDI(Beck Depression Inventory). Data analysis was performed by Pearson s correlation coefficient, independent sample t-tests, and discriminating analysis. Depression and DAPR stress scoring showed positive correlation whereas depression DAPR coping resources scoring and DAPR coping ability scoring showed negative correlation; The depression group showed significantly higher scores than the non-depression group in the “excess rain, rain touching, gets wet, wind, puddle(s) and standing in puddle(s)” item selections within the stress category. Furthermore, the depression group showed significantly lower scores compared to the non-depression group in “protection present, umbrella present, umbrella held, protective gear of proper size, perfect protection, full face shown, smile on the face, a person in the center, the full appearance of the person, and the line quality” item selection within the coping resource category. Also, 4 scoring items, “Pouring rain”, “Holding umbrella,” “Smiling face,” and “Rain contact,” illustrated a significant difference between the groups, and 4 scoring items, with a prediction accuracy of 96.0%. Therefore, DAPR is expected to be useful as a projective test for providing information on depression among college students in the field of art therapy.
