시각장애인복지관 평생교육 프로그램의 주제별 공급 현황 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 전국의 시각장애인복지관 평생교육 프로그램의 주제별 공급 현황을 파악하고 이를 통해 향후 시각장애인복지관이 평생교육기관으로서의 정체성을 확립하고 진일보할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 전국의 14개 시각장애인복지관에서 2017년 한 해 동안 공급한 평생교육 프로그램을 프로그램 안내집과 기관 홈페이지를 통해 조사ㆍ분석하였으며, 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각장애인복지관의 평생교육 프로그램 공급 현황을 6개 대영역별로 살펴보면, 문화예술교육이 192개(44.5%), 인문교양교육이 52개(35.3%) 등의 순으로 나타났으며, 18개 중영역별로 살펴보면, 여가스포츠 프로그램이 99개(23.0%), 생활소양 프로그램이 58개(13.5%), 문화예술숙련 프로그램이 54개 (12.5%) 등의 순으로 나타났다. 둘째, 시각장애인복지관 평생교육 프로그램의 제목과 내용 및 목적의 키워드를 워드 클라우드 기법을 활용해 생성한 결과를 주제별로 살펴보면, 일상생활 적응훈련, 검정고시, 점역교정사, 수영교실, 정보화교육, 권익옹호 등이 높은 빈도를 나타냈다. 셋째, 시각장애인복지관 평생교육 프로그램의 지역별 공급 현황에 차이가 있는지 검증한 결과, 수도권과 비수도권별, 5개 권역별로 의미있는 차이를 나타내지 않았다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the topical provision status of lifelong education programs in welfare centers for visually impaired people in South Korea, and explore methods for establishing the identity of welfare centers for visually impaired people as lifelong education institutions and further develop. The researcher conducted research lifelong education programs provided by 14 welfare centers for visually impaired people in South Korea in 2017 and analyzed results from program instructions or institution websites. Major results are presented as follows. First, the current status of providing lifelong education programs in welfare centers for visually impaired people into six categories showed that programs included 192 cultural and art education programs(44.5%), humanities and 52 liberal art education programs (35.3%). 18 middle-area showed 99 leisure sport programs(23.0%), 58 life cultural programs(13.5%), and 54 cultural and art cultivating program(12.5%). Second, results from title, contents, and objective keywords of lifelong education programs in welfare centers for visually impaired people by using a word cloud technique suggested that training for adjusting to routine life, qualification examination, braille revisors, swimming class, information education, right advocation were highly frequent. Third, the difference of providing patterns of lifelong education programs in welfare centers for visually impaired people according to regions confirmed that there was no significant difference among metropolitan area, non-metropolitan area, and five areas.
