국문 초록

이 연구는 지체·뇌병변장애인의 인공지능 서비스 도움 정도 및 인공지능기술 인식, 사회적자본수준 정도를 분석하고 사회적자본의 매개효과를 통한 변인들의 관계를 실증적으로 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 장애인을 대상으로 한 ‘2023 디지털정보격차 실태조사’ raw data의 유효 표본 2,200명중 1,614명의 응답 데이터를 분석에 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 지체·뇌병변장애인의 연령이 낮을수록, 장애가 심하지 않을수록, 학력과 소득이 높을수록 인공지능 서비스 도움을 많이 받는 것으로 인식하였고, 인공지능기술에 대해서는 21~40세 연령층이 가장 긍정적이었으며, 최종 학력과 소득이 높을수록 긍정적으로 인식하였다. 결속형 사회적자본 수준은 21~40세가 가장 높았고 교량형 사회적자본은 20대 이하가 가장 높았으며, 결속형 및 교량형 사회적자본 모두 최종 학력과 소득이 높을수록수준이 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 인공지능 서비스 도움 정도 인식은 결속형 사회적자본을 거쳐교량형 사회적자본을 통해 인공지능기술 인식에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 추후 장애및 인공지능 관련한 다양한 연구가 진행되어야 하고 개인의 특성을 반영한 인공지능 서비스 제공과평생학습 측면에서 스마트 러닝 환경을 위한 정책적 지원이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the degree of assistance AI services provide to individuals with physical and brain disabilities, their awareness of AI technology, and their level of social capital, while empirically examining the relationships among these variables through the mediating effect of social capital. From the 2023 Digital Information Gap Survey targeting people with disabilities, 1,614 valid responses out of 2,200 were analyzed. Results showed that younger individuals, those with less severe disabilities, and those with higher education and income levels perceived greater help from AI services. The 21–40 age group had the most positive perception of AI technology, which also increased with education and income. Bonding social capital was highest among those aged 21–40, while bridging social capital was highest among those under 20. Both types of social capital were stronger in individuals with higher education and income. Perceived helpfulness of AI services positively influenced AI technology awareness via bonding and then bridging social capital. Future research should further explore the intersection of disabilities and AI, and policy support is needed to provide AI services tailored to individual characteristics and to foster smart lifelong learning environments.
