국문 초록

본 논문에서는 한국형 합성훈련환경(STE)의 개발방향을 제시하였다. 합성훈련환경(STE)은 기존 LVC훈련체계를 대체하는 美 미래사령부(AFC)의 프로젝트이다. 한국형 합성훈련환경(STE)을 구축하기 위해 미국, 영국, 독일 등의 사례에 대해 분석하였고, 성공적인 사업 추진을 위해 SWOT분석 통해 한국형 합성훈련환경(STE) 사업의 핵심 성공 요인(CSF)과 추진 전략을 수립하였다. 또한 합성훈련환경(STE) 요구사항 분석을 통해 구성요소인 정보체계(TMT, TSS 등)와 훈련체계(RVCT, SVT)의 설계방향에 대해 제시하였다. 훈련 교육 서비스의 확장성과 유연성을 고려한 훈련관리도구(TMT) 아키텍처와 맞춤형 피드백을 위한 AI 활용 방안, 한국군의 실전적이고 효과적인 교육훈련에 적합한 모의훈련 엔진 도입 방안을 제안한다. 한국군 특성에 맞춘 합성훈련환경(STE)의 구축을 통해 훈련체계를 고도화하고 한국군의 훈련 효율성 향상을 기대한다.

영문 초록

This paper proposes a development direction for a synthetic training environment (STE) for the Republic of Korea Armed Forces. The STE is a project initiated by the U.S. AFC to replace existing live, virtual, and constructive (LVC) training systems, and it serves as a model for next-generation military training. To support the development of the STE, we analyze case studies from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Germany and conduct a SWOT analysis to ensure effective project implementation. By analyzing the requirements of the STE, this paper establishes the design direction for the information system (TMT, TSS) and training systems (RVCT, SVT), which are key components of the STE. It proposes a training management tool (TMT) architecture designed to ensure scalability and flexibility in training and education services. Additionally, it incorporates an AI-driven learning approach to provide personalized feedback for trainees. A plan for introducing a simulation training engine that facilitates realistic and effective military exercises is also presented.
