국문 초록

이 연구는 2028학년도 대입제도 개편안 발표 이후 나타난 주요 쟁점과 사회적 반응을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 국내 주요 언론에 보도된 812건의 기사를 수집하고, 텍스트 마이닝 기법 중 잠재 디리클레 할당(Latent Dirichlet Allocation; LDA)을 적용하여 핵심 쟁점을 규명하였다. 분석 결과, 총 8개의 토픽이 도출되었으며, 이는 ① 교과·수능 전형, 학생부 평가 반영 확대 추세, ② 미래 교육, 논·서술형 평가 방식으로 정책 변화 필요, ③ 진로·융합 선택과목 상대평가 도입, 고교학점제와 엇박자 우려, ④ 내신·수능 유리, 특목고·자사고·학군지 선호 전망, ⑤ 국가교육위원회, 수능 심화수학 제외 및 사회·과학 일부 절대평가 권고, ⑥ 수능 통합사회·과학 영역 출제 문항 공개.. 사교육 증가, 고교학점제 취지 훼손 우려, ⑦ 수능 수학 축소 논란, 변별력 및 이공계 경쟁력 약화 vs 사교육 감소 기대, ⑧ 내신 체제 변화, 자연계 쏠림 현상 가속화로 정리된다. 이러한 결과를 통해 첫째, 정책의 실질적 효과와 파급력에 대한 우려, 둘째, 미래 교육 방향성과 평가 체제 간의 정합성 문제라는 두 가지 시사점을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 데이터 기반 분석을 통해 연구자의 주관적 해석을 최소화하고, 대입제도 개편의 사회적 수용성과 정책적 타당성을 검토하는 데 필요한 실증적 근거를 제공한다는 점에서 학문적 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the major issues and social responses following the announcement of the 2028 university admission system reform. To this end, 812 news articles reported in major Korean media outlets were collected, and the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) method, a text mining technique, was applied to identify key issues. The analysis revealed eight topics: ① the expansion of student records reflected in admissions and CSAT processes, ② the need for policy changes toward essay-type and descriptive assessments in line with future education, ③ the introduction of relative grading in elective subjects for career and interdisciplinary studies, raising concerns about inconsistency with the high school credit system, ④ perceived advantages in GPA and CSAT performance leading to a stronger preference for special-purpose high schools, autonomous private high schools, and prestigious school districts, ⑤ the National Education Commission’s recommendation to exclude advanced mathematics from the CSAT and to apply absolute grading to selected social science subjects, ⑥ controversy over the disclosure of integrated social studies and science questions, provoking concerns about increased private education and the undermining of the high school credit system, ⑦ debate over the reduction of mathematics coverage in the CSAT, with concerns about weakened competitiveness in STEM fields contrasted with expectations for reduced private education, and ⑧ changes in the GPA system that may accelerate the concentration of students in natural science tracks. These findings highlight two key implications: first, concerns about the practical effects and ripple impacts of the reform, and second, the issue of alignment between future education goals and the assessment system. This study employs a data-driven analytical approach to minimize subjective interpretation and provides empirical evidence for evaluating the social acceptance and policy validity of the university admission reform, thereby contributing to academic research.
