국문 초록

본 연구는 국내에 커뮤니티 비즈니스가 도입되고 20여 년이 지난 현재 시점에서 국내에서 사업을 운영 중인 커뮤니티 비즈니스를 분석하여 지역자원을 기반으로 하는 커뮤니티 비즈니스의 개념을 보다 객관적이고 설명력 높은 구성 요소들을 탐색하고 중요도를 분석하여 구조화하고자 하였다. 분석결과 지역 자원성, 가치화, 협력과 순환의 순으로 중요도가 나타났다. 이후 커뮤니티 비즈니스가 위기에 처한 지역에 활력을 불어넣고 공동체의 삶을 풍요롭게 할 수 있는 유용한 대안으로 더 많은 역할을 하기 위해서는 지역의 유·무형 자원에 대한 개발과 활용, 지역 차원의 협력적 거버넌스를 위한 보다 적극적인 노력이 필요하다.

영문 초록

In Korea, community businesses have been sought as an alternative to overcome the outflow of local population, regional imbalances, and long-term economic stagnation, and to create jobs. Since then, many cases have emerged, and some of them have grown steadily, while others have shown limitations such as remaining at the level of community activities due to weaknesses in business models, dependence on policy support, and limitations in management capabilities. Meanwhile, recent community businesses are attempting various strategies such as creating added value and new industrial groups by more actively utilizing local resources, strategies that make the entire community a business complex, and strategies that actively expand the market. Therefore, this study analyzed the components and importance of community business based on local resources as a useful alternative that can revitalize regions in crisis and enrich community life, 20 years after the introduction of community business in Korea.
