국문 초록

군인의 건강은 국가 전투력의 기본 요건 중의 하나이다. 따라서 군인의 건강수준은 파악하고, 관련된 요인을 찾는 것은 매우 중요하다. 이 연구는 한국 군인의 주관적 건강수준, 구강건강수준을 파악하고, 건강행태 등 관련요인을 확인하기 위해 한국의 2018년 지역사회건강조사 자료를 활용하여 남성 직업군인 688명과 일반인 남성 50,086명을 대상으로 분석하였다. 분석결과, 남성 직업군인은 일반인 남성보다 음주비율은 약간 높지만, 흡연 비율은 낮고, 체중 조절 경험이 더 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 남성 직업군인은 일반인 남성보다 주관적 건강수준 좋음 비율이 높았으며, 금연, BMI가 25.0 이하가 그렇지 않은 경우보다 주관적 건강수준좋음 비율이 높았다. 주관적 구강 건강수준 역시, 남성 직업군인이 일반인 남성보다 좋음 비율이 높았으며, 교육수준이 높을수록, 금연 중일수록 주관적 건강수준 좋음 비율이 높았다. 이 연구에서 남성 직업군인의 흡연, 음주의 건강행태가 주관적 건강수준과 주관적 구강건강수준과 연관이 있음을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The health of a soldier is a fundamental foundation of national combat power. Therefore, it is very important to understand the subjective health and subjective oral health status of soldiers and to find related factors. This study was a descriptive research study analyzing secondary data based on the 2018 Korea Community Health Survey. This study targeted 688 male soldier and 50,086 general civilian. As a result of analysis, male soldiers had a slightly higher drinking rate than general civilian, but had a lower smoking rate and had a better experience of weight control. Male soldiers had a higher proportion of perceived health status than general civilian, smoking, BMI<25.0, and a higher proportion of perceived health status than otherwise. Regarding the perceived oral health status, the ratio of male soldiers was higher than that of general civilian, and the higher the education level, the higher the ratio of perceived health status during smoking. This study confirmed that smoking and drinking health behaviors of male soldiers were associated with perceived health and oral health status.
