국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 국내 아동기 정서지능 연구 주제를 살펴보고 교육적 함의를 제공하는 것이다. 이를 위해 국내 등재학술지를 대상으로 연구 주제를 유형화하고 아동기 정서지능 연구대상과 연구주제 흐름을 파악하였다. 분석 대상은 국내 학술지에 게재된 논문 50편이다. 분석결과 아동기 정서지능 연구대상 다양화 되고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 아동기 정서지능을 다양한 변인들과의 상관성을 밝히는 연구가 대다수를 차지했으며 그 다음으로는 정서지능 증진 프로그램 개발 연구가 그 뒤를 이었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 도출한 교육적 함의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육복지 차원에서 저소득층 아동의 생활적응과 학업 안정성 유지를 위한 정서지능 개발 프로그램이 시급함을 확인하였다. 둘째, 아동기 정서지능 발달의 중요성이 검증된 만큼 정서지능 교육을 수업 교과에 편성하고 교사, 학부모 대상 정서지능 향상 프로그램이 요구되고 있음을 확인하였다. 후속연구를 위해서는 사회적 문제해결을 위한 정서지능 활용방안 연구, 정서지능과 뇌발달 연구 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the research topics of childhood emotional intelligence in Korea and provide educational implications. To this end, we categorized the research topics in domestic listed journals and identified the research subjects and research topic flow of childhood emotional intelligence. 50 articles published in domestic journals were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, we found that the subjects of childhood emotional intelligence research are diversifying. In addition, studies that reveal the correlation of childhood emotional intelligence with various variables accounted for the majority, followed by studies that develop programs to promote emotional intelligence. The educational implications of this study are as follows. First, from an educational welfare perspective, it is urgent to develop emotional intelligence development programs for low-income children to maintain their life adaptation and academic stability. Second, as the importance of childhood emotional intelligence development has been verified, emotional intelligence education should be incorporated into classroom curriculum and emotional intelligence improvement programs for teachers and parents are required. For follow-up research, we suggest research on how to utilize emotional intelligence to solve social problems and research on emotional intelligence and brain development.
