국문 초록

소방공무원들은 화재현장에서 각종 유해물질을 흡입하게 되며, 이로 인해 호흡기 및 폐질환이 발생함으로써 그들의 건강이 위협받고 있다. 이 연구는 우리나라 일부 소방공무원의 유해물질 노출군과 비노출군의 폐기능 검사 결과를 비교하고, 폐기능 검사 및 환기기능 장애에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다. 유해물질 노출군과 비노출군의 폐기능 검사 결과는 유의한 차이는 없었다. FEV1/FVC(%)에서는 연령과 신장 등 유의하게 영향을 미쳤으며, PEF는 연령, 체중, 현 부서 근무기간이 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다(p<0.05). 환기기능 장애 유무와 관련된 유의한 영향요인은 흡연이었으며, 비흡연자에 비해 상대위험도는 1.949배였다(p<0.05). 소방공무원의 유해인자 노출여부는 폐기능 검사 결과와 차이가 없었으며, 폐기능 검사 결과의 관련요인으로는 연령, 현 부서 근무기간, 신장, 체중 등이었으며, 환기기능 장애 유무에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 흡연이었다.

영문 초록

Fire officials inhale various harmful substances at the fire site, which threatens their health by causing respiratory and lung diseases. This study aims to investigate the factors that influence lung function tests and ventilatory function status by conducting analysis of the lung function test(VC(L), FVC(%), FEV1(L), FEV1(%), FEV1/FVC(%), and PEF) results of 420 firefighter groups exposed to harmful substances and those who did not have such exposure. There was no statistically significant difference in the results of lung function tests between the exposed and non-exposed groups of harmful substances. In FEV1/FVC(%), age and height were significantly affected, and in PEF, age, body weight, and working period in the current department were significantly affected(p<0.05). Smoking was a significant influence factor related to the presence or absence of lung ventilation dysfunction, and the relative risk was 1.949 times higher than that of non-smokers(p<0.05). There was no significant difference from the lung function test results in whether fire officials were exposed to harmful factors, and the related factors of the lung function test were age, working period of current department, height, and body weight. Smoking status was only significant factor affecting the presence or absence of lung ventilation dysfunction.
