상담 전문가의 고용 불안이 상담 현장에 주는 의미 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 고용 불안이 상담 전문가의 심리적 상태와 상담 장면에서 어떻게 드러나는 지를 질적 사례연구를 통해 심층적으로 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 고용 불안 경험이 있는 상담 전문가 5명을 대상으로 심층 면담을 실시하고, Creswell(2013)의 사례연구 방 법에 따라 자료를 분석하였다. 그 결과 상담 전문가들이 공통적으로 경험한 고용 불안은 ‘고용 형태 인식 및 불안’ 영역에서 5개, ‘상담 장면에서 드러나는 고용 불안’ 영역에서 2 개, ‘불안정한 환경 속 노력’ 영역에서 1개의 주제군으로 도출되었다. 사례 전반에 공통적 으로 나타난 고용 불안 경험은 심리적 불안정, 미래 계획의 제약, 직무 몰입 저하로 나타 났으며, 이는 상담 몰입에도 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바 탕으로, 상담 전문가의 고용 불안이 상담 현장에 미치는 의미와 시사점을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore how job insecurity in the psychological states of counseling professionals and in their counseling practice, using a qualitative case study approach. In-depth interviews with five counseling professionals who had experienced job insecurity, and data were analyzed based on Creswell’s(2013) case study methodology. Three major thematic domains emerged: perceptions of employment type and insecurity, manifestations of insecurity in counseling sessions, and efforts to cope within unstable environments. Job insecurity was found to lead to psychological instability, limitations in future planning, and reduced job engagement, which negatively affected therapeutic involvement. This study discusses the impact of job insecurity on counselors’ professional functioning and its implications for counseling practice.
