국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 디지털 수용태도와 디지털 리터러시가 디지털놀이 지원역량에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울, 경기, 부산, 광주, 경상남도 지역에 재직 중인 만 3~5세 유아 담임교사 350명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 상관분석과 단계적 중다회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 디지털 리터러시와 디지털 수용태도는 모두 유아교사의 디지털놀이 지원역량에 유의한 정적 영향을 미치는 예측변인으로 나타났으며, 특히 디지털 리터러시의 하위요인인 디지털 의사소통이 가장 높은 예측력을 보였고, 그 다음으로 유용성, 디지털 정보, 선호도 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 유아교사의 디지털놀이 지원역량을 향상시키기 위해서는 단순한 기술 숙련을 넘어서, 디지털 매체에 대한 긍정적 인식과 수용적 태도, 디지털 정보에 대한 이해와 활용 역량, 타인과의 디지털 의사소통 감수성을 함께 함양할 수 있는 심화 교육과 실천 중심의 교사 연수가 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship and relative influence of early childhood teachers’ digital acceptance attitude and digital literacy on their competency to support digital play. A survey was conducted with early childhood teachers in charge of 3- to 5-year-old children working in kindergartens and childcare centers located in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Busan, Gwangju, and Gyeongsangnam-do. The collected data were analyzed using correlation analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis via SPSS 26.0. As a result, both digital literacy and digital acceptance attitude were found to have significant positive effects on teachers’ competency to support digital play. Among the sub-factors, digital communication, a sub-factor of digital literacy, showed the highest predictive power, followed by perceived usefulness, digital information, and preference, in that order. This study is meaningful in that it reveals how both teachers’ ability to understand and use digital information and their psychological openness and positive attitudes toward digital media jointly contribute to their capacity to effectively support young children’s digital play. These findings suggest the need for teacher training programs that go beyond technical proficiency and focus on fostering digital sensitivity, literacy, and positive attitudes.
