유아의 창의적 인성, 미술능력, 언어 및 사고능력에 대한 명화감상활동의 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 명화감상활동이 유아의 창의적 인성과 미술능력, 언어 및 사고능력에 효과가 있는지를 알아보는 것이 주된 목적이다. 이를 위해 K도 C지역의 병설유치원 5세아 40명(실험집단 20명, 비교집단 20명)을 대상으로 주 2회 8주간 총 16회의 명화감상활동을 실시하였고 비교집단을 생활 속 미술활동을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 비교집단에 비해 실험집단 유아들의 창의적 인성이 더 좋은 것으로 나타났고 유아의 미술능력도 실험집단 유아들이 비교집단과 차이가 있었으며 유아의 언어 및 사고 능력에도 실험집단과 비교집단 유아들이 서로 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 이러한 결과는 유아의 창의적 인성, 미술능력, 언어 및 사고능력의 발달에 유아명화감상활동이 효과적인 교수 전략이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study tried to examine the relationship of famous paintings appreciation activities(FPAA) with young children's creative personality, artistic ability, and language and thinking ability. Subjects were 40 five-year-old children attending public kindergarten(20 children in the experimental, 20 in the control group) in C district in Korea. The results of this study were as follows. First, the FPAA had the positive effects on uniqueness, various interests, independence endurance and imaginationplayfulness belongs of creative personality. Second, the FPAA had positive effects on artistic expressive ability and appreciation ability. Third, the FPAA had positive on improvement of analytic, general and diagnostic function based on perception belongs of the language and thinking ability. The results imply that the FPAA can be the way for the effective teaching activity for young children' s creative personality, artistic ability, linguistic and thinking ability.
