국문 초록

Hollywood genre films have formed a unique production system under the influence of the studio system, while Empire of the Sun breaks the inherent pattern of genre films and makes bold innovations on the basis of inheriting the traditional war film form, exploring the nature of war from the perspective of children, which gives the film a layer of absurd childishness and childlike innocence. This article will start from the point of view of “absurd childlike innocence” combined with director Spielberg’s creative style to appreciate the film's naive and dreamy narrative mode, audiovisual language and aesthetic style, explore the profound criticism behind the childlike innocence, and deconstruct the director’s unique ideological connotations and humanistic concerns embodied in the innovation.
