레오나르도 다빈치의 사고에 기반한 융합학습모형 개발 가능성 탐구

국문 초록

사회가 점점 복잡해짐에 따라 융합인재에 대한 요구가 커지고 있으며, 이를 반영한 다양한 융합교육이 시도되고 있다. 그러나 융합교육 운영상의 한계도 꾸준히 지적되고 있다. 본 연구는 대표적인 융합인재인 레오나르도 다빈치의 사고를 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 융합학습모형의 개발 가능성을 탐색하여 초안을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 레오나르도 다빈치 사고의 특징을 다룬 선행연구를 분석하고 레오나르도 다빈치가 직접 작성한 노트를 검토한 결과, 레오나르도 다빈치의 사고는 다양한 분야에 대한 호기심, 질문을 하면서 탐구할 문제 설정, 경험 중심의 관찰과 실험, 증명과 추론을 통한 일반화 도출, 지식의 적용과 확장 및 학문 간 융합, 반성적 사고, 끊임없는 시도와 끝까지 해내는 의지라는 특징을 지니고 있었다. 이러한 특징이 융합학습에 주는 시사점으로 경이와 호기심, 탐구질문 생성, 직접 경험, 귀납적 일반화, 근접 및 원거리 전이, 학습에서의 성찰, 회복탄력성과 그릿이 도출되었다. 이를 바탕으로, 본 연구에서는 순환성과 지속성을 갖춘 융합학습모형의 초안을 제안하였다. 연구 결과를 통해 융합인재가 갖춰야 할 특징을 규명하고, 융합학습모형의 보편화 가능성을 제고할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

As society becomes increasingly complex, the demand for convergent talents continues to grow, leading to various attempts at convergence education. However, limitations in its implementation have been consistently pointed out. This study aims to analyze the thinking patterns of Leonardo da Vinci, a representative example of a convergent talent, and explore the feasibility of developing a convergence learning model, ultimately proposing a preliminary framework. To achieve this, previous studies on Leonardo da Vinci’s cognitive characteristics were analyzed, and his own writings were examined. The findings revealed that his thinking was characterized by curiosity across various fields, problem-setting through exploratory questioning, experience-based observation and experimentation, generalization through proof and reasoning, application and expansion of knowledge, interdisciplinary integration, reflective thinking, and perseverance to see tasks through to completion. These characteristics provide key implications for convergence learning, including wonder and curiosity, the generation of inquiry-based questions, direct experience, inductive generalization, near and far transfer of knowledge, reflection in learning, resilience and grit. Based on these elements, this study proposes a preliminary convergence learning model emphasizing cyclicality and continuity. The findings contribute to identifying the essential qualities of convergent talents and enhancing the potential for the generalization of the convergence learning model.
