국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 생애사적 접근을 통해 노년기 및 은퇴기 교사들의 실제적인 자산관리 경험과 목소리를 해석적으로 조명하는 데 있다. 이 연구는 생애 자산관리에 관심이 있으며, 생애 자산관리 경험을 진솔하게 이야기할 수 있는 연구 참여자들(N=5)을 선정하여 내러티브 인터뷰를 시도하고, 총체적 내용접근(holistic content approach)으로 주제 분석을 하여 최종적 연구결과를 도출하였다. 연구결과를 간략하게 제시하면 다음과 같다. 중고령 세대 교사들은 현명한 금융 의사결정으로 경제적 삶을 유지하고 지탱하였으며, 근로소득과 연금소득을 고려하여 합리적인 소비를 하였다. 또한, 중고령 세대 교사들은 저축, 투자, 부채관리를 통해 금융 및 실물 자산을 모았으며, 자산배분으로 리스크를 관리하면서 은퇴 생활을 설계하였다. 이 연구는 중고령 세대 교사들의 자산관리 경험과 목소리를 세밀하게 조명함으로써 후세대 교사들(X세대 및 MZ세대 교사)에게 효율적인 자산관리를 위한 실질적인 노하우와 교훈을 제공할 것이다. 또한, 이 연구의 결과는 교사들의 교직생활에 특화된 생애 자산관리의 중요성과 의미를 해석함으로써 후세대 교사들의 재무적 안녕과 안정적인 노후 대비를 위한 교육적 통찰을 제공할 것이다.

영문 초록

The aim of this paper is to interpretively illuminate the practical asset management experiences and voices of elderly and retired teachers through a life history approach. This paper selected research participants(N=5) who were interested in life asset management and could honestly talk about their life asset management experiences, attempted narrative interviews, and derived research results through a holistic content approach and thematic analysis. The results of the paper are briefly presented as follows. Middle-aged and older generation teachers maintained and supported their economic lives through wise financial decisions, and made rational consumption considering their earned income and pension income. In addition, middle-aged and older generation teachers accumulated financial and real assets through savings, investments, and debt management, and designed their retirement lives while managing risks through asset allocation. This paper will provide practical know-how and lessons for efficient asset management to next generations of teachers by closely examining the asset management experiences and voices of middle-aged and older generation teachers. In addition, the results of this paper will provide insights for the financial well-being and stable retirement preparation of next generations of teachers by interpreting the importance and meaning of life asset management specialized for teachers' teaching careers.
