국문 초록

애류(崖溜) 권덕규가 살았던 시기는 조선을 무력 지배한 일본제국주의와의 본격적인 항쟁이 시작되던 시기였다. 조선총독부는 조선인들을 대상으로 식민지신민사관 교육을 시작하였는데 그 중심에 조선역사교육이 있었다. 일본제국주의 신민으로서 알아야 할 조선의 역사를 주입하는 것이 주목적이었다. 이에 대응하여 독립운동가들과 문화사학자들은 조선인의 주체적인 역사를 기술한 역사서와 각 종 잡지를 계속 저술하여 조선인의 주체의식과 광복에 대한 의식을 계속 불러일으켰다. 애류는 독립운동가로서, 국어학자, 역사학자로서 많은 업적을 남긴 인물이다. 특히 그는 『조선유기朝鮮留記』와 『조선유기략朝鮮留記略』, 『조선사朝鮮史』를 통해 조선 상고사의 주체적 역사관을 주장하였다. 한국사의 시작은 환족桓族인 환웅의 신시神市 역사로부터 시작되어 여러 환웅에 의해 오랜 세월 이어졌으며 이 역사는 단군조선으로 계승되었음을 기술하였다. 또한 누 천 년의 단군조선은 부여로 정통성이 계승되었음을 기술하여‘신시-단군조선-부여’로 이어지는 한국 상고사의 맥을 정립하였다. 광복 후 저술한 『조선사』는 당시 한국인들이 가장 많이 읽었던 역사서로서, 당시까지 면면히 이어져 내려온 보편적 역사관을 보급하여 대중화한 것이기에 그의 업적은 주목할 만하다. 현재 한국 상고사학은 위기에 놓여있다. 중국인 위만의 조선과 낙랑군의 속국으로 시작되었다고 기술된 한국사 상고사관은 동북공정 논리에 일체 대응하지 못하는 불구자 사관으로 전락했기 때문이다. 이러한 시기에 신시의 역사로 시작되어 단군조선 - 부여로 계승되었음을 기술한 애류의 상고 조선에 대한 인식은 주변국의 역사침탈에 대응할 수 있는 중요한 사관으로 다시 주목할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The period in which Ae-ryu Kwon Deok-gyu lived was a time when a full-scale uprising against Japanese imperialism began, which dominated Chosun by force.The Japanese General Government of Korea began to educate the Korean people, centering on history education in Chosun. The main purpose was to teach thehistory of Chosun, which was to be known as a citizen of Japanese imperialism. In response, independence activists and cultural historians continued to write historical books and various journals describing the independent history of Koreans in order to raise awareness of the subjectivity and liberation of Koreans. Ae-ryu (崖溜) is a person who left many achievements as an independence activist, Korean linguist and historian. In particular, he insisted on the independent view of the history of Chosun by 『ChosunYugi (朝鮮留記)』,『Chosun Yugilyag (朝鮮留記略)』, and 『Chosunsa (朝鮮史)』. It was described that the beginning of Korean history started with the story of Shinsi(神市) of Hwanwoong (桓雄), who is a member of the Hwan family (桓族), and continued for a long time by various Hwanwoongs, and this story was continued as Dangun (檀君) Chosun. Furthermore, Dangun Chosun, which had existed for a thousand years, described that its legitimacy was inherited by Buyeo(扶餘), leading the vein of ancient Korean history to 'Shinsi (神 市)-Dangun Chosun (檀君朝鮮)- Buyeo (扶餘)'. 『Chosunsa (朝鮮史)』, which was written in the year of Chosun's independence from Japan, is the most widely read history book by Koreans at that time, and its achievements are remarkable because it disseminated and popularized a universal view of history that has been passed down. Korean ancient history is currently in a state of crisis. This is because it has been reduced to a view of self-reliance, although it has not been able to respond to the whole Northeast project of Chinese (東北工 程) logic, which is described as Korean history that began as a subordinate country in China. At this time, it is necessary to draw attention again to Ae-ryu's view of ancient Chosun, which describes that it began with the history of Shinshi and was inherited as Dangun Chosun - Buyeo, as an important view to respond to the invasion of the history of neighboring countries.
