국문 초록

이 연구에서는튀르키예의 한국 드라마 소비를 오리지널 콘텐츠 향유와 현지 리메이크 제작이라는 두 가지 측면에 초점을 맞춰 살펴 보았다. 이 연구는 양국의 업계 보고서, 언론 보도, 관련 학술 연구를 체계적으로 분석하여 튀르키예 시청자의 소비 패턴과 리메이크 관행이 어떻게 진화했는지 탐구해 보았다. 연구 결과, 한국 드라마는 디지털 플랫폼과 TV 채널을 통해 강력한 입지를 구축했으며, 튀르키예에서 50편 이상의 리메이크 작품이 제작되어 한국 콘텐츠의 가치에 대한 업계의 인식을 확인할 수 있었다. 한국 드라마가 원작으로든 리메이크 드라마로든 지속적인 선호를 얻기 위해서는, 소비자들의 변화하는 소비 행태뿐 아니라 문화적 민감성을 철저히 고려해야 한다. 따라서 본 연구는 변화하는 미디어 환경과 글로벌 한류 현상 속에서 터키 내 한국 드라마의 소비 지도를 그리는 데 기여하고, 향후 양국 드라마 산업 교류의 발전 방향에 대한 이해를 제공한다.

영문 초록

This study examines the consumption of Korean dramas in Türkiye, focusing on two aspects: the consumption of original content and the production of local remakes. Through a systematic analysis of industry reports, media coverage, and related academic research in both countries, this study traces the evolution of Turkish viewers' consumption patterns and remake practices. The findings reveal that Korean dramas have established a strong presence through digital platforms and TV channels, with over 50 remakes produced in Türkiye, highlighting the industry's recognition of the value of Korean content. However, changing audience consumption patterns and an increasing emphasis on cultural sensitivity pose challenges that require strategic adaptations from the drama industries in both countries. Consequently, this study contributes to a current consumption map of Korean drama in Türkiye. It provides insights into the future development of drama industry exchanges between the two countries, particularly in the context of evolving media environments and the global Korean Wave phenomenon.
