국문 초록

교회는 그리스도인의 윤리적 양심을 형성하는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 교회가 행하는 이 역할이 보다 효과적으로 이루어지기 위해 성사적인 차원을 강조하는 것이 필요하다. 왜냐하면 이 안에서 그리스도인은 자기 삶의 충만함과 정당성에 도달할 수 있기 때문이다. 또한 그리스도와의 성사적 만남이 온전히 이루어지고, 그리스도께서 사셨던 삶이 그리스도인 존재의 근원이라는 사실을 이해하고 이를 살아갈 수 있게 하기 때문이다. 양심 형성에 있어서 교회의 성사적 차원과 함께, 교회가 행하는 교리 교육과 진솔한 대화를 통해 그리스도인은 현대 사회를 살아가면서 직면하게 되는 여러 윤리적 문제들에 대한 답을 찾을 수 있는 효과적인 식별의 기준과 지침을 발견할 수 있다. 교리 교육은 그리스도인의 삶 전체와 연관되며, 자신의 신앙을 성숙하게 하는 지속적인 교육으로 이해된다. 또한 예수 그리스도와의 관계성을 강화시키며 매일의 삶에서 그리스도인으로서 행해야할 행위에 대해 깨닫게 한다. 이 교육은 계시의 빛을 받아 다양한 상황 안에서 신앙이 지닌 윤리적 차원을 발전시키고, 일상에서 신앙을 이해하는 양심을 형성하게 한다. 그리고 식별과 대화는 그리스도인의 윤리적 생활 전체와 윤리적 양심 형성을 위한 모든 구체적인 영역에 영향을 미친다. 식별은 양심 형성에 있어서 역동적이며 성장의 새로운 단계를 수용하게 하고 새로운 결정에 개방적 자세를 취하게 한다. 또한 양심 형성은 그리스도인들과 교회의 지속적인 대화를 통해 성숙되어야 한다. 이를 통해 교회 안에서 개인과 개인 그리고 개인과 공동체가 서로 통합되고, 그리스도인의 양심은 필요한 요구에 응답을 하게 된다.

영문 초록

The Church plays an important role in forming the ethical conscience of Christians. In order for the Church to carry out this role more effectively, it is necessary to emphasize the sacramental dimension. This is because Christians can reach their fullness and justification of life by receiving the sacraments. It is through the sacraments that the Christians can have a fully sacramental encounter with Christ and understand that the life of Christ is the source of Christian existence and practice. Church's sacramental dimension, along with catecheses and honest dialogue help Christians establish standards and guidelines for effective discernment when finding answers to the various ethical problems of the modern society. Catechism is related to the entire life of Christians and is understood as continuous education that matures one's faith. It also strengthens the relationship with Jesus Christ and makes them realize what Christians must do in the daily lives. This education develops the ethical dimension of faith in various situations through the light of revelation and forms a conscience that allows for a understanding of faith in everyday life. Discernment and dialogue affect the entire ethical life of Christians and all specific areas for the formation of ethical conscience. Discernment is dynamic in the formation of conscience, allowing them to embrace new stages of growth and be open to new decision-making. Conscience formation must be matured through continuous dialogue between Christians and the Church. Through such process, individuals and communities can be integrated in the Church, and the Christian conscience can respond to the needs of the world.
