유·무인 복합전투체계의 대드론전투 수행방안 : 중대급 이하 소부대를 중심으로

국문 초록

이 연구는 유·무인 복합전투체계에서 중대급 이하 소부대의 대드론전투에 대한 하나의 안(案)을 제시했다. 소부대 지휘자(관)는 ‘정찰-탐지-결정-교전-전투피해평가’의 과정을 거치면서 조건에 따라 재교전, 후퇴 및 철수, 차후 임무 수행, 전투 회피 등의 판단을 내릴 수 있다. 아군의 지상 전투원들은 지금까지 적 지상 영역의 위협에 대응한 교육훈련이 중점이었다. 따라서 공중 영역을 정찰하는 방법, 탐지 시 보고 방법, 적 드론의 능력과 숫자에 따른 전투 행동, 교전 시 적 드론 격추를 위한 사격 방법, 전투피해평가 후 다음 임무 결정 등에 대해 서술하였다. 또한 유·무인 복합전투체계의 소부대가 효과적인 대드론전투를 하기 위해 첫째, 싸우는 방법 구체화와 교육훈련 활성화, 둘째, 소부대의 기동에 적합한 무기체계와 조직편성, 마지막으로 현재 진행 중인 이스라엘-하마스 분쟁과 우크라이나-러시아 전쟁에서 지상 전투원이 공중 영역의 드론을 격추한 사례를 연구할 것을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study presents a proposal for small sized units to engage in C-UAS(Counter Unmanned Aircraft System) in the MUM-T(Manned and Unmanned Teaming). The company or platoon commander can go through the process of “Reconnaissance, Detection, Decision, Engagement, and Battle Damage Assessment” and make a decision to re-engage, retreat and withdraw, continue missions, or avoid combat, depending on the conditions. For friendly ground combatants, training has so far focused on responding to threats from the enemy's ground domain, so it describes how to recon the air domain, how to report when detected, how to engage based on the capability and number of enemy drones, how to shoot down enemy drones when engaged, and how to decide on the next mission after assessing battle damage. In addition, it was suggested that in order for a small unit of the MUM-T to be effective in C-UAS, firstly, the combat method should be specified and training should be activated; secondly, the weapon system and organization should be suitable for the small unit's maneuvering; and finally, the cases of ground combatants shooting down drones in the air domain in the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict and the Ukraine-Russia war should be studied.
