국문 초록

한국어(KSL) 교육과정이 기존에 “다문화 배경을 가진 학생”에서, 개정 후 그 대상을 “한국어 의사소통 능력 함양이 필요한 학생”으로 국내 초·중등 한국어 학습자를 위한 개별화된 교육과정으로 운영되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 개선의 노력에도 불구하고, 해당 학생들의 학업 중단율은 여전히 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있어, 추가적인 지원방안과 교육적 접근 방식의 보완이 필요하다. 본 연구는 한국어(KSL) 교육과정과 국어 교육과정을 병행하여 운영하는 데 초점을 맞추고, 두 교육과정의 교재 간 연계성을 살피고자한다. 한국어교육에서 효과적인 접근법으로 인정받고 있는 문화교육을 중심으로 두 교재에서 문학의 비중을 비교·검토할 것이다. 문학은 문화의 하위 요소로서 학습자들이 문화적 맥락을 이해하고 의사소통 능력을 향상시키는 데 중요한 역할을 한다. 문학을 단순한 텍스트 분석의 대상으로 보는 데 그치지 않고, 문화적 학습 자료로 활용하는 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 특히 현대시는 문학적 감상을 제공하는 것을 넘어, 이문화 교육의 효과적인 도구로 활용될 수 있음을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 통해 “한국어 의사소통 능력 함양이 필요한 학생”들이 현대시를 매개로 한국 사회와 문화를 보다 자연스럽게 이해하고, 나아가 자신의 정체성을 형성하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The Korean language (KSL) curriculum has previously revised the target of Korean language learning skills, and middle and middle-class education for Korean learning ability to communicate with Korean language learning skills.However, despite these improvement efforts, the academic stop of the students are still showing a trend of support methods and educational approach methods and educational approach methods and educational approach. This study focuses on operating the Korean language (KSL) curriculum and the Korean language curriculum in parallel, and examines the connection between the two curriculum textbooks. We will compare and review the weight of literature in the two textbooks, focusing on cultural education, which is recognized as an effective approach in Korean language education. Literature, as a sub-element of culture, plays an important role in helping learners understand the cultural context and improve communication skills. It is intended to find a way to use literature as a cultural learning material, not just as an object of text analysis. In particular, it is suggested that modern poetry can be used as an effective tool for cross-cultural education beyond providing literary appreciation. Through this, it is expected that “students who need to cultivate Korean communication skills” will be able to understand Korean society and culture more naturally through modern poetry and further form their own identity.
