국문 초록

외국인을 위한 한국어교육에서 결과상태상에 대한 교육은 비교적 초급에서 이루어짐에 따라 한국어 교재에서는 그에 따른 용법 및 제약 사항에 대한 설명이 제한적이다. 이는 학습자의 한국어 능력이 향상된 이후에도 결과상태상 표현을 초급 수준에서 사용하게 되는 원인 중 하나라고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이를 개선하기 위한 새로 발간된 한국어 교재를 분석하여 결과상태상에 대한 제시 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The expression of aspect in Korean is one of the grammatical features that tend to cause more errors, especially when it differs from the native language of foreign learners. In particular, the “resultative aspect,” which represents the continuation of a resultant state, requires different combinations depending on the inherent lexical aspect of the verb. Therefore, it must be addressed in Korean language textbooks. Auxiliary verbs that express resultative states in Korean include -고 있 -, -어 있-, and -었-, and there are cases where their usage overlaps depending on the verb. However, these aspects are typically introduced at the beginner level in Korean language textbooks, often preventing learners from recognizing their subtle distinctions. As a result, learners either use beginner-level expressions of the resultative aspect without understanding these nuances or avoid using them altogether. This study aims to examine how the resultative aspect is presented in Korean language textbooks newly published around 2020 and propose educational strategies for teaching it effectively.
