국문 초록

Purpose : This study aims to investigate the impact of AI technology on the advancement of nursing from the perspective of nursing students, with the goal of providing foundational data for the development of nursing education curricula and teaching methods. Methods : The study was conducted from June 1 to June 30, 2024, with 145 nursing students from four universities located in Seoul, Gangwon Province, and Gyeonggi Province. The researcher used four different types of questions developed based on prior studies and literature to explore nursing students' perceptions of the impact of AI technology on the advancement of nursing. Results : The analysis of the meaning of the impact of AI technology on the advancement of nursing identified 31 meaningful statements across four domains, leading to the extraction of 13 categories. Conclusion : This study suggests that AI technology should be more actively integrated into nursing education curricula. It also emphasizes the need for educational programs that help nurses maintain their professional expertise without over-relying on technology. Moreover, it calls for continuous improvement of institutional and ethical standards in line with the development of AI technology, as well as further research to examine the actual effects and challenges of AI in nursing practice.
