Disagreement and Consensus: Chinese Modernization In the Perspective of “The other” By Analyzing the Research of Foreign Scholars Since the Twenty-first Century

국문 초록

Chinese modernization is a great practical achievement of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. This paper aims to systematically sort out and summarize the research opinions of scholars on Chinese modernization, and put forward some suggestions for scholars to deepen research and promote the Chinese story internationally. Through the method of literature review, the paper summarizes the research features of scholars on Chinese modernization, including a combination of macro and micro perspectives, comprehensive coverage of key areas of Chinese modernization; regional and country studies as the main focus; obvious influence of ideology, with suspicion and support coexisting; widespread distribution of researchers' origins, with foreign scholars as the main group; fewer journal articles and books, and more news interviews. Based on this, the paper not only puts forward some suggestions for scholars to deepen the study of Chinese modernization, including deepening their understanding of Chinese modernization from both theoretical and practical perspectives, dissecting the theoretical system of Chinese modernization from both macro and micro perspectives, comprehensively using various research methods, but also puts forward enlightenment for telling the Chinese story well internationally, including nurturing cultural confidence to enhance the driving force of publicity, targeted publicity based on different social strata, fully utilizing mass media for publicity, and adhering to a friendly attitude and sticking to the fact-based approach.

영문 초록

中国式现代化是中国特色社会主义理论的伟大实践成果。本研究旨在系统梳理和总结学者们对中国式现代化的研究结论，为学者深化研究和在国际宣传好中国故事提出建议。通过文献资料分析法，总结了学者们对中国式现代化的研究特点，包括宏观与微观相结合，基本覆盖中国式现代化的重点领域；以区域国别研究为主；受意识形态影响明显，怀疑与支持并存；研究学者来源分布广泛，以学者们为主；期刊论文和著作较少，新闻采访较多。在此基础上，本研究不仅为学者深化中国式现代化研究提出建议，包括从理论和实践层面深化对中国式现代化的理解，从宏观和微观层面剖析中国式现代化理论体系，综合运用多种研究方法进行研究，而且提出了在国际讲好中国故事的启示，包括培育文化自信以增强宣传主动力，根据不同阶层有针对性地进行宣传，充分运用大众宣传媒介，秉持友好态度和坚持以事实为依据。
