국문 초록

The objective of study is to find out policy implications for alternative solutions using foreign countries where housing provision system of old age is well equipped. Literature review and case study methods are adopted for finding out supporting provision system of each countries. Case countries of retirement villages usually pursuit their operation on the commercial basis so financial burden of retirement village depend on resident financial situation. It is government's consolidated regulation and supervisory system that retirement villages became a third way for old age housing. From the perspective of stakeholder's viewpoints, there are various actors supporting entire retirement village sector like information providers, accreditation agency and association of retirement village operators. Performance indicators like high residential satisfaction and delay to aged care show that retirement village coincide with old age expectation. Considering very limited housing supply for old age, it need to set up institutional arrangements for activating private participation and government's endeavor.
