국문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide foundational data for housing policies that reflect the characteristics of households in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. To achieve this, factors influencing house satisfaction and residential environment satisfaction by household type were identified. The research method included a literature review and the use of data from the 2022 Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Housing Survey. The results of the study are as follows: First, comparing the differences in house satisfaction and residential environment satisfaction between the entire households and by household characteristics, significant differences were found in housing satisfaction among young households, newlywed households, and households with unmarried children compared to the general population. In terms of residential environment satisfaction, young households, households with unmarried children, and elderly households showed significant differences from the general population. Second, multiple regression analysis revealed the factors influencing overall house satisfaction and overall residential environment satisfaction. The results indicated that higher satisfaction with unit layout led to higher overall house satisfaction across all household types. Additionally, higher satisfaction with neighbor relations resulted in higher overall residential environment satisfaction. However, for overall housing satisfaction, in households with unmarried children, satisfaction with house size and number of bathrooms influenced overall house satisfaction, while in elderly households, satisfaction with house size, number of rooms, and number of bathrooms had an impact. For overall residential environment satisfaction, young households were influenced by noise satisfaction, newlywed households by educational environment satisfaction, households with unmarried children by security conditions, and elderly households by accessibility to commercial facilities, public transportation, convenience of parking facilities, educational environment, and security conditions.
