국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 최근 이루어지고 있는 기술공학 분야의 급격한 발달에 의한 변화를 수용할 수 있는 수학교육의 철학적 토대를 탐색하는 것이다. 포스트휴머니즘은 인간에 부여된 특권을 해체하고, 인간과 비인간의 이분법적 구도를 행위자성을 바탕으로 재구조화한다는 점에서 휴머니즘과 구분된다. 포스트휴머니즘에 대한 논의는 철학과 교육학 분야에서 폭넓게 다루어지기 시작한 반면, 수학교육연구에서는 소수의 학자들을 중심으로 제한적으로 이루어지고 있다. 이 글에서는 포스트휴머니즘을 개관하고, 몇 가지 사례를 바탕으로 수학교육으로의 적용가능성을 탐색한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this article is to explore the philosophical underpinnings of mathematics education that can are capable of withstanding the changes brought about by recent rapid developments in the field of technology and engineering. Posthumanism is distinguished from humanism in that it deconstructs the privileging of human beings and restructures the dichotomy of human and non-human in terms of agency. While posthumanism has been widely discussed in the fields of philosophy and education, its use in mathematics education research has been limited to a handful of scholars. This article provides an overview of the main arguments and concepts of posthumanism and explores their applicability to mathematics education based on several examples.
